What you need to know and do to prepare for a possible pandemic virus infection (Coronavirus 19/COVID 19, Influenza, etc)

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) is actively monitoring the COVID-19, a respiratory infection with symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

At this time, TCRHCC has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low for the general population in Western Navajo but this could change rapidly. The vast majority of people with the disease have mild symptoms and will not require medical intervention.

COVID-19 is believed to spread mostly through respiratory droplets produced when a sick person coughs or sneezes. Currently, there is no vaccine or treatment. Individuals with COVID-19 should be provided with supportive care including fluids or fever-reducing medication.
